FAQ
Are the chemicals safe for my children and pets?
The chemicals we use are approved by the Environmental Protection Agency and the Texas Department of Agriculture. We recommend keeping children and pets away from insecticides until they have dried (about 30 minutes after application). After that, the chemical is not likely to be absorbed through skin. Many of the products that we use to control pests share the same ingredients used for topical treatments for pets such as Frontline Plus, PetArmor, Trifexix and Fibroguard flea medicine.
What are the areas that you treat?
We treat all accessible doorways, baseboards and plumbing areas on the interior and the base of the house on the exterior. The garage is always included in a General Pest Control Treatment, but the attic is treated upon request only at an additional charge.
How often should I get treatment for General Pest Control?
We recommend quarterly service — once every three months — but we can treat as often as once a month.
Do we need to leave when you treat the inside of our home?
It is not necessary for you to leave while our technician is performing routine work in your home or office. Pets should be kept away from the treated areas for about 30 minutes. However, when treating for fleas inside your home our technician might suggest for you to leave or go outside for a small period of time.
